welcome to a new entry! hope you're doing great, I'm feeling quite tired... but finally I'm here for this
como se pueden dar cuenta por el título, decidí pintar mis uñas con motivo patrio ya que hoy se celebra el 206 aniversario de la independencia de mi país
as you can notice for the title, I decided to pain my nails to celebrate the 206th anniversary of my country's independence
bueno, no tengo mucho que decirles, así que comencemos con esto
well, I don't have so much to say, so let's start with this
primero me gustaría decir que no tenía idea de cómo pintarlas ya que cada año trato de hacer un diseño diferente y en esta ocasión carecía de imaginación... pero tuve una iluminación repentina y decidí seguir mi instinto!
first I would like to say that I didn't have idea how to paint them 'cause every year I try to make a different design and I was out of ideas... but suddenly I saw the light haha so I decided to follow my instinct!
una pequeña nota: creí que sería una buena idea girar la imagen ya que el color verde siempre va a la izquierda y ya que hice el efecto "dripping paint" en la punta de las uñas pues se ve mejor de ésta manera...
an small nite here: I thought it was a good idea to rotate the pic 'cause the green colours has to be located, always, on the left and since I made the "dripping paint" effect they look better this way...
este año decidí hacer algo un poco diferente, obviamente usé los colores de la bandera, y, para ser honesta el resultado me gustó bastante
this year I decided to do something different, obviously I used the colours of the flag, and, to be honest I really liked the final result
bueno, primero usé en tres uñas un esmalte con glitter como base, después usé verde en una, blanco en otra y rojo en la última haciendo el efecto "dripping paint"
después en la uña del meñique usé rojo como base, agregué un esmalte de glitter pequeño y decidí dibujar varios rectángulos y puntos con pintura acrílica blanca, al final agregué un punto verde a cada triángulo
en la última uña usé verde como base, hice un diseño a base de rombos (o diamantes) en blanco y rojo
al final agregué top coat a todas las uñas
well, first I used a glittery nail polish as a base on three nails, then I used green polish in one nail, red in another one and white in the last one, making the "dripping paint" effect
then in the pinky finger I used red as a base, I added an small/thin glittery polish and decided to draw some white triangles and dots using acrylic paint, at the end I added some green dots to the triangles
in the last nail I used green as a base, then I did a desing using diamond shapes in white and red
at the end I added top coat to all the nails
como pueden ver es un diseño relativamente fácil y me gustó mucho, debo decir que las dos uñas con diseño diferente están inspiradas en un afiche que vi en la calle (el cual también era del aniversario de la independencia) y quise hacer algo parecido
as you can see the design is relatively easy and I really liked it, I have to say that the two nails with different design are inspired in a "promo" I saw in the street (it was also about the anniversary of the independence) and I wanted to do something that looked similar to it
